Mouse over, how to make XYplorer react to it?
As I pan left or right with the mouse or touchpad cursor I expect some buttons to react accordingly. Those ones containing folder shortcuts or tag options to name two. How?

Not sure what you mean by react, you mean on mouse-over the folder shortcuts should be selected?Gabrielle wrote:As I pan left or right with the mouse or touchpad cursor I expect some buttons to react accordingly. Those ones containing folder shortcuts or tag options to name two. How?

Rcent Locations, Views, Find by Tags and Labels should auto expand on mouse-over.
User made buttons too in some cases.

Oh! you meant the toolbar buttons. Yes, some of those can be helpful, but something called Custom Event Actions (CEA) is planned for future. See XY roadmap:Gabrielle wrote:Rcent Locations, Views, Find by Tags and Labels should auto expand on mouse-over.

Not possible (or at least I don't know how to do it): Once a menu is popped it has to be closed before any mouse overs outside the menu can be trapped.

I just checked about a half-dozen various applications I use often and NONE of them do this so with their toolbar buttons without any clicks...so XY not doing it seems quite normal.Gabrielle wrote:As I pan left or right with the mouse or touchpad cursor I expect some buttons to react accordingly. Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

If I were to be stuck on standards and 'normal' behavior why bother buying a file manager as each operational system has its own?
