Network drive vs computer drive

I notice that if I hover my cursor pointer over a file, it shows a pop-up box with info about the file or folder.. ie, name, type, size, etc.

However, this only works for hard drives directly connected to my computer.. it does not work with networked drives. I have a WD MyBookLive network drive, and hovering the pointer over any files in the list, produces nothing.

Working by design, or is there a problem viewing network drive info?

Go to Tools > Configuration
Under "File Info Tips" are both "Show file info tips" and "In network locations as well" checked?

No, I was not aware of that.. it now works as I want. Thanks

Gonna have to spend some time with the users manual I guess
