Right-click drag, no delete option

Sometimes to save time I make a right-click drag selection rectangle and select delete. But I see all other weird stuff and normal stuff (cut/copy/paste) but no delete option

Sometimes to save time I make a right-click drag selection rectangle and select delete. But I see all other weird stuff and normal stuff (cut/copy/paste) but no delete option

The only way to do this is with two mouse clicks:
1. first left-click to drag and select;
2. then click the right mouse button.

The resulting context menu has the missing delete option.
