Selecting Tabs Requires a "Firm"/"Forceful" Click ?
Selecting Tabs Requires a "Firm"/"Forceful" Click ?
If I have two or more tabs showing in a pane, clicking on each tab seems to require a somewhat "firm" or "forceful" click. A "light" (but definite) "quick" click sometimes seems ineffective, in that nothing happens without another click (even though a light click seems to work fine in the rest of XYplorer - or in the rest of Windows, for that matter). Am I the only one who has noticed this? [Thanks for comments.]

I'm experiencing this as well. I doubt that this is some kind of "system setting" because this only happens on XY's tabs and nowhere else.

Hm, not here. You say "sometimes". If you can show me a sure way I can have better chances to do something...

Re: Selecting Tabs Requires a "Firm"/"Forceful" Click ?
I might add that I notice this on two systems (Win 7 Pro SP1 Lenovo laptop, and Win XP Pro SP3 Dell desktop), with, obviously two keyboards and mouse controls. Of course, it's the same "light, quick-touch fingers" on each mouse's buttons, but nowhere else in XYplorer or in Windows do I ever notice this "click that doesn't quite click enough" effect.
I've gotten a bit used to it, so that I now click a little more deliberately on XYplorer tabs, but it's interesting that, when I first started using XYplorer, and the tabs seemed so "deaf" to my light single clicks, I even thought for a short while that the tabs had to be double-clicked (which, of course, does involve more deliberate clicking).
I'm a slow learner, I guess.

Even the feather-lightest clicks trigger the action here.

Also no problem here... Is it possible you have some third-party apps running in the background that are sucking up your CPU? Check the Windows Task Manager maybe...

Thanks for the reports and suggestions, everyone.
And, to kunkel321 specifically (thanks) - I did check TaskMan on both PCs, and nothing is running amok for CPU (or RAM, either). However, even if some app ~were~ acting greedy, stealing CPU cycles, it would ~still~ be a bit odd that I would only notice it when clicking on the XYplorer tabs - nothing else in XYplorer or in Windows shows this oddity.
Oh well, I guess I've been well trained, though, clicking a little more deliberately on the tabs pretty automatically now -
