Keyboard file selection?

Post by agnul »

Hi all!

Just downloaded the trial, and XYPlorer looks great :D

While I'm trying to overcome the shock of the missing dual pane view... ;) is it possible to add a keyboard shortcut to toggle file "selectedness" in the list view? Something like you hit "Ins" on the keyboard and the file which focus is on is added to/removed from the selection (midnite commander style ;))

... and when I have all the files selected I can just do a ctrl-c, skip a few tabs with ctrl-tab, and ctrl-v. Who needs dual panes anyway? :D

(hey wait a minute? where's the "Paste (Move)" shortcut?)

Easy: Ctrl+Space. And use Ctrl+Up/Down Arrows to move the focus without changing selections.

Not me :D

Hm, I just assigned Ctrl+Shift+V to something new... (see next BETA). But "Paste (Move)", or "Paste As Cut" as I just renamed it, is quite rarely used: you only need it when you want to overwrite the initial Cut or Copy operation. No big need for a shortcut.

Whops, seems like there are a couple of tricks I don't know yet.

D'oh, just realized that all I wanted was a "Cut" indeed.

(Are questions answered always that quick here?)

Cut is Ctrl+X.

Only the first three questions
