Almost a new user - improvement suggestions

I'm nearly at the end of my trial period. Overall this is a great program, superior to most of the competition in double pane file explorers. The fact that developer Don is listening (and responds quickly to individual emails and the forum) is a huge plus. Here are a few things that I would like implement (if they aren't already - being a new user maybe I've missed a configuration or two.)

1. Tabs
- I see from the forum that tabs and tabsets continue to bring up development issues. The tabs are great but I see others have had the same concern that I do which is:
- Working all day in XY will leave so many tabs open that you can't see what they are there should be a way to:
a) - have a button (not a dropdown menu) that will restore BOTH your panes to their saved tabsets - one click and everything that is not a locked tab closes on both sides, and/or
b) - a configuration that will auto-close any tab that is not locked when you go to another folder - leaving only locked tabs open (and the new tab that opened if the folder is not a locked tab)
c) - put a tabset on a button (dropdown menus take too long when you are in a rush and just want to click the button that you know will reset something without having to select it)

2. Folder Path
- like Windows Explorer make each portion of the path clickable (ie between each backslash c:\my_PC\documents\project\date )

3. Add Buttons from Favorites
- a great feature in Xplorer2 - when you go to "Customize Toolbar" saved favorites can be be added to the Current Buttons and appear on the toolbar with a folder icon and the folder's name - no further configuration (scripting buttons) required.
- the workaround that Don showed me to do this on a button is this:

- Icon: label:WTR>f6f6f6,5d7060
only thing is you can't add the path name like this with the Browse button as it asks for a file to open - not a folder. Also, in order to use this method you have to leave the toolbar on large icons - because on large you can display only 3 letters - on small - almost 2 letters, both of which are very limiting. Note I chose "WTR" above for "whatever"

4. Scripting
- the scripting is a fantastic way to allow users into the backend to do stuff - but I wonder, is it based on any scripting language? It doesn't appear to be and so I'm not sure of the benefits of spending the time to learn how to code scripts - because other than searching the forum I'm not sure what you can actually do (that's a benefit over what the program already does) with them. The Help Scripting section is an excellent resource on how to write the language but doesn't say why I would want to write my own scripts.

5. Properties window
- I love it - works really fast and having the tabs is brilliant because you don't always want the "Preview" open for image folders (loading time for one thing). Would it be possible to show more than one image in Preivew if selected with Shift? That would save having to open a separate imaging program.

3. Add Buttons from Favorites

Not only favorites. You can add any folder to the toolbar by a single click! You just have to add the command to the context menu one time:

Tick Configuration | Extended | Custom items in shell context menu | Add Folder to Toolbar.
Now right-click any tree folder and choose the command. A new Droppable User Button is appended to the right end of the Toolbar pointing to the folder.

Okay, I'm definitely going to become a "lifer". I presume it's fairly simple to copy the settings you want from one install to another - although folders won't be the same name I can see wanting some of the other configurations the same on all your PCs.

These settings are all in XYplorer.ini.
Generally ALL XYplorer settings are in a couple of files and folders found in the path <xydata> (you can paste <xydata> into the address bar to get there). You can copy the whole bunch to any other computer and it will work. 100% portable ever since.
