I like the "Always on top" feature, but when it is set and you try to do something that loads a pop-up dialogue window (I don't know the correct term for this - but I mean, for example, the "Configuration" window), XYplorer's main screen is even on top of that screen, and so the pop-up screen cannot be seen or responded to if it loads in the same area of the screen as the XYplorer window. And, of course, since XYplorer is waiting for the pop-up screen to be closed, XYplorer cannot be accessed - even to move it out of the way!
It is possible to get out of this situation by hitting Return, which closes the pop-up without any action being taken, and then moving XYplorer away from where the pop-up appears, and trying again.
I don't know whether it would be possible to bring the pop-up on top, even though XYplorer is set to be always on top.

Re: Always on top - Pop-up windows
Hmmm... I never use Always On Top myself, but I always thought somebody did. So how can it be that nobody ever reported this very obvious bug???
Thank you, I'll see what i can do.

Re: Always on top - Pop-up windows
May I ask why? Your bug is very uncomfortable to debug and if you don't give me a good reason why anybody would use Always On Top for a file manager like XY, I simply throw "Always on top" on the garbage and the problem is gone!Jonathan wrote:I like the "Always on top" feature...

No answers, no opinions... ?
So: on 4th of July "Always on top" will go the same way as Italy will on that day (namely leave the building

Answer no, Opinion... I honestly dont see the use of such a feature for a file manager (esp. since mine is always full-screen!)admin wrote:No answers, no opinions... ?
