Change Panel Width?

Post by avsfan »

Hi,

I've just recently discovered XYPlorer, and it looks great!

On the website, there's a picture (http://www.xyplorer.com/images/shots/catalog.png) of the catalog view where the catalog is below the tree view, and those two panes take up the whole height of the window. The detail view is to the right of the tree, and the panel is below the detail view (the same width as the detail view).

On the version I just downloaded (5.00.0015), I have turned on the catalog, and turned off the panel to get the catalog and tree views to take up the full height. The detail view also then takes up the full height. When I turn on the panel, the catalog and tree views both shrink, and the panel runs the full width of the window. What I'd like is for the panel to be only as wide as the detail view, and leave the catalog and tree panes as they are (basically to look like the screenshot on the website!)

I'm sure there must be an easy way to do this, and I just missed it -- Please excuse my ignorance!

Thanks for such a great product!

There is indeed an easy way: menu Window/Arrangement/High Tree. :D

And welcome to the XY fanatics club!

Perfect! I knew I must have just been missing it!

Now I'm sure there are about a milllion other things to learn (but I'm looking forward to learning them!)

Thanks again!
