is it possible to change the way tabs names are shown?

Post by woomera »

hello everyone,

my tabs show the full path of the current folder and i wanted to know if its possible to set it to just show the folder name, like in explorer.
the problem is when few tabs are open it gets cluttered in the tabs bar.

thanks

Hi and welcome to the XY forums!

Check out Config>Tabs>Tab Caption setting

I've got mine as Custom with "<drive>:~<folder>" so I see important parts yet know it's not full name.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

No problem -- There are LOTS of settings so missing one isn't unknown.
thank you
You're welcome! :)

We're here to help as long as you've done a bit of homework first, like looking thru Help, XY site and prior threads first so we all can keep this forum tidy...but if you get stuck, feel free to post.
