F6 - does anybody use it?

Post by admin »

F6: Move focus among Tree, Address Bar, and List. It's a Windows standard, but I personally never use it. Just curious: do you?

Tab does not work correctly if either the Tree or the Address bar are not visible, but F6 does. What happens with Tab is that it switches to the non-existent item i.e. if the Address bar is not visible then Tab from List goes to ??????, Tab again goes to Tree and again back to List.

We've had a very peaceful break with friends near Lake Lucerne, which is why I've not been reading the forum. Looks like I've got a lot to catch up on!!

I use it on occasion, but not often...given that it's a Win std, it may be used by those who don't follow forum daily as some of us...
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

I think I fixed that in v5.00.0009, didn't I?

So you would recommend Lake Lucerne as a recreation park for XY forum workers. I'll pass it on...

Certainly, I always find Switzerland a very relaxing atmosphere. Even though we live outside London it's still commuter belt and everybody always seems in such a hurry here.

Yes, the Swiss of a reputation of being not in a hurry. There's a joke about a Swiss worker repairing the church clock and then the hour-hand knocks the screw driver out of his hand

Never heard a joke before about the Swiss being slow in general, so I'm not taking it personal.
There are jokes within Switzerland about the people from our canton Berne for being slow, but that's probably another story.
