I am using the 10.50 "trial version" of Xyplorer hoping to find a Powerdesk replacement. I like this program very much but I can't get a problem worked out. I save a lot of web pages to read offline and sometimes I have to go back and do a cleanup. But, before I do, I like to click on the "preview" feature just as a precaution that I won't be deleting the wrong one. But, this feature isn't working correctly. This is an example of what WAS seeing:
<html lang="en-US"><head><link title="Microsoft Support Search" type="application/opensearchdescription+xml" rel="search" href="http://support.microsoft.com/common/ope ... -us"><meta name="ms.gsfxversion" content="7.6.9.0"><meta name="ms.sup_cid" content="290301"><meta
Then, when that didn't work, I went back into configuration and made some changes and now all I get is "Internet Explorer Script Error". I have to keep clicking "NO" until finally it loads. I am using Internet Explorer 8 with Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. I have gone into IE8 and disabled the script debugging in IE8 and the script debugging (other), disabled notification, disabled error reporting, checked to make sure Java is enabled but none of these changes have made a difference. These files are in the htm or the html extension. How do I set Xyplorer so I can see the web pages like I was seeing them online without having to click on "no" a hundred times? Is there a setting I'm missing? Thank you for your time.

most probably it's your system/browser problem. using same XP SP3, have IE7 but using Opera as browser.

No, there is no setting against this. All this in the power of IE, I don't know of a way to change this.nameless wrote:These files are in the htm or the html extension.
