How to save a Rename Special / Regex Rename ?

Is it possible to save a Regex Rename - and select from a list of your saved rename regular expressions when you want to rename a group of files?

I see mention of templating in the help file, but it seems to refer to the other aspects of Rename Special.

Not by default but you can do it via scripting.
