:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Tree view sort order not Natural Numeric

Post by Gandolf »

The tree view is sorted differently from the list view of sub-directories. Natural Numeric sort is ON.

Code: Select all

Tree is:
~Assorted
~TEMP
2005
2006
etc...

but the List is:
2005
2006
~Assorted
~TEMP
etc...
Since I want Natural Numeric order and, I believe, the tree is entirely your own work can the tree be made the same sort order as the list? I realise it will only apply in a few cases but I deliberately use special characters to place items at the beginning / end of lists of files or folders.

I'm aware of it. But can't change it. Has been explained elsewhere in the forum. Can't find now.

I thought it had been mentioned before but couldn't find it either. If it can't be changed then it's no great problem.
