2 little things

Post by jacky »

Couple of things I'd like you to change :P ;)

First seems to be new with 4.50, when the focused row is the first one, but the file is not selected; if i press the Up key it wont do anything; when it used to select it, I have to do Down&Up. (Same goes for the last one, and Down key)

Also, when file(s) is/are selected, and I do a copy/paste (and get "Copy of..." files) the selection is lost with the refresh :-( Could you make it stay selected ?

Yes. Now it should work alright. In thumbs views, I made it that the arrow keys always go to the start and end of the columns and rows.

So you don't use auto-refresh? Because there it works... I'll add selection memory to non-auto-refresh as well, thanks for seeing that.

hmm... well actually yes I do use auto-refresh! And yet it doesnt work :?

I tried it again, with and without auto-refresh, but it always do the same:
- I select a file
- Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V
- refresh is automatic with paste, wheither auto is on or not, and selection is lost in both case

Tried using the mouse & ctxt menu, same. Tried when copying a file to another folder, same.
I'm running v4.50.0017, which is the latest one, so I'm not sure why it won't work for me but does for you... Maybe it's something you already had fixed in your version??

..actually, seems I still have a problem with the Up key! Now when I'm somewhere on the list, and go up using that key, it will go as up as row 2, but wont go up to row 1 :?
Still have the Home key to work it out so I haven't gone mad yet, but it was close :P

I've already reported this http://www.xyplorer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=586 but Donald is either very busy and has missed it, or chosen to ignore it! Perhaps he'll see your post.
