autofilling in "Name and Location" box works incon

When you enter searching query into "Name and Location" box XYplorer guesses suitable variants from the recent history. As one of them variants is usually focused it is very logical to suppose that if you press "Enter" the focused query will be inserted into the box for searching (as it is a rule for Windows XP autofilling feature).
But instead only this fragment will be inserted which you have typed manually. In this case why for was to use a focus in the list of recent variants?

Good question. I think <enter> should always trigger the text that's actually displayed in the edit field, so the solution should be to NOT auto-select the first item in the recent variants list. Any objections anybody?

May be to use different keys for different operations? For instance:

To insert the auto-selected item from the list - RightArrow
and
To insert the fragment from edit field - Enter

Do you mean too complex to code or too complex to use? If you mean usability, thus I think XYplorer in general is not for those users who can not manage some shortcuts. Standard MS Windows Explorer is much more simpler for beginner, isn't it?

Yes, I mean usability. I should have said "weird" instead of "complex". To use arrow keys as <enter> is just too exotic to me.
As it is now, it's totally intuitive, and it does not need any changes AFAI see.
