List being Able to Remember Selelected Item.

Not that I'd prefer that this setting could deliver me what I want, but enabling it should.
Config (F9) > Advanced > History Retains Selections ENABLED could let me select an item on list, click on a folder at the tree, and when going back to the list (starting location of this experiment), selected item should be focused, not the top of the list.
-ideally, this could be the default behavior regardless of what "History Retains Selections" setting is chosen.
