Continuous Navigation Mode.

Post by SkyFrontier »

What about a way to have a "continuous navigation mode", by means of the list having an infinite loop between its ending (bottom) to starting (top), allowing to cycle folders only, files only or both (not to be confused but also applied to "sort folders apart")?
-think on "toolbar can be scrolled" but for the list!
I miss such a feature when having to scroll up and down to pick up several files for a same folder within a huge list (quite usual to me), task which is now much easier because of the Select Items thing - but only when a list is available via FlashGet/other download history AND downloaded files match Select Items' criteria...
Thanks!

Under Configuration->General->

I have "Sort folders apart" checked and "Keep Folders on top" unchecked. Is this what you mean?

I think he wants folders on bottom and files on top...the inverse.

Exactly -- that's why "Keep folders on top" is UNchecked...

:oops: Didn't see the "UN"...sorry! Yea, that should do it if we understood what he meant.

:)

No worries -- I figured that was the case...

Now that we've solved the problem, we just need to know if we solved the RIGHT problem!

Hi, guys - thanks for the answers.
No, the problem is when I untick "keep folders on top", I have the effect of sorting by date (modified/created) working as expected (newest files on top of folders). But the same doesn't occur with "Name" sorting (desired).
Even when it comes to "Size", I should be able to have files on top always.
UNticking "keep folders on top" should mean, therefore, "files apart and on top" - for each and every occasion.
(all of this considering "folders apart" is TICKED, of course.)
