Where's my freezer?!

I was just about to suggest on the XY script Library the Freezer as an alternative to those who badly need a script that for a reason or another they find it is broken. Wondering if that was moved to the License Lounge, place that deserves IMHO a visible entry right in the main page. Keeping it hidden under Support, kind of defeats the purpose, don't?

No, it doesn't. The Freezer is there so people can download earlier version for comparison and testing purposes -- that's Support ;) The only people for whom that is allowed are valid licensees, so it's in the License Lounge ;) All sounds pretty logical to me :P

Yes, it does makes sense.
But lacking of a visible link still seems to me as losing an opportunity to spread the word to visitors the benefits of registration.
Anyway, developer's decision...
Thanks, zer0!

This page -- http://www.xyplorer.com/register.php -- clearly describes and links to benefits of registration. It doesn't have to "in your face" about it.

Direct link to License Lounge on the main page, that's what I'm talking about, zer0, regarding "benefits of registration". Access to the License Lounge should be enforced as a direct benefit to registered users. Then people eventually complaining on scripts not working and not having a helpful hand as Stefan lend here, for example, could try the older versions easily.
One way or another, I'll update first post of the XY Script Library to highlight that as a workaround, for the last scenario.

From the home page, LL is 2 clicks away (and a licensee can bookmark theirs). The front page is already heavy with facts. Besides, LL is a bonus for licensees, so people won't buy XY just because of it -- several things in it are no longer exclusive.

...defeating its purpose.
Well.
Don's decisions, so.

I'm fully in agreement with zer0 on this...you can't have everything on the front page, and two clicks is very easy to access it...some sites require half-a-dozen or more to get to what one needs...XY's site is ideal in comparison.

Anyway, I still can't see any sense in Freezer leading non-registered visitors to a "FILE NOT FOUND (404)" message.
...but you guys will certainly see a reasonable argument for that!
Oh, well.
The cons of not being "T-5". :(
...but one day I'll be enlightened! :P

Given that no visible link (AFAIK) to that page exists outside the LL, users shouldn't end up there...but it could be tweaked to a page that says something like "Access only to registered users" or such if you try to access it without coming thru the LL login process.

Yeah. Finally, we're talking. 8)

Why would someone try to access it without going through LL first? :? It's not a publically-available features, so some authentication is required.

They could have gotten there by a link here (or bookmark) as SkyFrontier suggested and yes, authentication is required so that's why it should display a page appropriate to that situation ('login reqd') rather than just a 'page not found', right?

They could be on another system and using a portable bookmark and thus not be logged on to LL...maybe unusual but could occur.

It should be possible to automatically re-direct to an appropriate page.

You can bookmark your LL without having to log in separately -- the bookmark contains all the needed details 8)

...also a little bumping on this, why not? (regarding License Lounge role also recently discussed here)

Found few days ago (and now, lost in my notes):

Open Freezer!!! :P
...assuming LE stands for Light Edition... (also because it contains a pretty recent 9.50 edition, but this may be an automated task, Admin knows... )
If this is not intentional - close it?

Side note: home page now has a beautiful tree as a banner. Wait. I see more of them!!! Is that a sign...?
