Sublime Text - Has a text scroller ("minimap") which is great to deal with large chunks of text even at lower screen resolutions. PSpad - Currently my favorite. Tons of options, allows customization, spell checking for 19 languages. Last update: 12 July 2009 (abandoned or is it simply perfect? lol) - http://www.pspad.com/en/download.php - FREEWARE
HippoEDIT - Clean interface and future versions will (probably) have the better code/error/mismatching brackets highlighting I've ever seen. You can assign a shortcut to almost everything. GREAT support, one of the best out there, I'd dare to say. - http://www.hippoedit.com/download.php - SHAREWARE
Currently testing:
Richardson's Edit Rocket; Galcott's PowerEdit (one of the best HTML detaggers I've ever seen since [guess?] Detagger, the pink winged pig! lol); Aptana (can't remember why, but in a task I had to do last year its version 1.x served me better than 2.x...) and... UltraEdit. All shareware except Aptana.
