Global Multiple Column Sort
Would be really nice if multiple column sort could be used globally e.g. in Scripting and as part of FVS.

Re: Global Multiple Column Sort
Really? I thought it is (no time to test now). You mean secondary column sort, right?

Yep, sorry - secondary column sort - pretty sure it is not remembered for FVS and if it is included in scripting I haven't worked out how to do it

Re: Global Multiple Column Sort
Don,
Sorry my bad
, you are quite right it does work in FVS - it must be something I am doing to FVS - because my column sort order seems to get lost quite often (so I setup sort order apply FVS then go off navigating - I comeback and the sort order appears to be lost - I may have changed sort order in another folder - but this shouldn't affect my original location?).
I think I read that you can obviously change view settings in an FVS folder but that these would then revert back to the original FVS settings when you navigate away from the folder and back again - is this wrong is it per session? (I have not got FVS 'Auto Save Changes' ticked before you ask)?
Thanks
Andy

Re: Global Multiple Column Sort
Don,
Just ignore my insane mutterings - just tested myself and it appears to work exactly as I expected and you said it works...
Apologies for wasting your time.
Is it possible in scripting / quick scripting as well? Is that just something else I have missed.
Thanks
