Looking for "IconFile=[Filename]"

Post by aurumdigitus »

Having upgraded to v9.00.0017 cannot locate "IconFile=[Filename]" in xyplorer.ini. Does it have to be added manually or am I missing something patently obvious? :?

It is there in XYplorer 9.00.0017 configuration file.

Code: Select all

MinimizeToTrayOnXClose=0
; Tweak: set to 1 to get nagged by an 'Exit XYplorer now?' prompt.
PromptOnXClose=0
IconFile=
CacheServers=0
PrivateHistory=0
Did you searched for "IconFile=[Filename]" ?
Try to search for IconFile= only.

Did you look into the right ini?
Maybe restart XY on time with saving.

If you see in XYplorer's title bar something like "upgraded to 9.10.0017", xyplorer.ini hasn't yet been saved by the new version. Upon saving, the new tweak(s) are added to the file.

Thanks for your help. Upon upgrade to 0017 had blithely clicked on the Restart xyplorer now Button.

Knowing Don doesn't make many code mistakes this drove me nuts for half an hour before submitting the Forum question. Clearly must be chalked up to "operator error". :oops:

All is now well and am serenely looking at the icon of my choice!
