... but it really should be! The UI is really just not geared to a touchscreen laptop at present, but really most of that is just because everything is forcibly so small. Maybe it's not something so many people would care about, but I figure a base set of improvements to make it useable wouldn't take much and is comprised of fixes I've seen asked about elsewhere anyway.
- adjustable font sizes (fixes the size issue somewhat)
- list style for 'large details' (I think its called "content" view) like in the Windows 7 explorer (fixes the size issue completely as far as I'm concerned, it's just difficult to click on details view items accurately with your finger at present)
Not such a good app for Win 7 tablet
Re: Not such a good app for Win 7 tablet
actually, the list and tree are mostly fine when you make them bigger. it's the menus and things that make life difficult. Perhaps it's just a case of making the icon size for details+icon view larger when no thumbnail can be created?

XYplorer has adjustable font sizes. (Configuration / Fonts)
Concerning huge icons (> 32x32 pixel) -- that's on my list.
Menu font and icon size is a system function (Control Panel / Display Settings...).
