Disable auto-refresh while moving

Post by jacky »

Hey,

I think this might be classified as a bug: when you select a lot of files, and move them, then TV3 will do a lot of auto-refresh (assuming it's on of course, but it always is for me ) during the moving operation.

Now I can see why it does that, but i don't think this is actually any usefull, cause you can't really do anything during the moving operation (select a file to preview, or start selecting some files, in 2sec a new auto-refresh will take place and you'll loose your selection!) but it does slow down the whole thing!!
Yes, everytime TV3 does its sorting operation, the moving one is "paused"; no files are moved until TV3 is done.

So if I stay in the current folder (which I would have like to do) I can't really do anything (not that I wanted to anyways) but I'm slowing down the moving process !! So in fact I have to change to another folder, wait for the moving to be done, then go back to the previous folder. Quite annoying if you ask me.

Could you like disable the auto-refresh when a moving operation in started, and you activate it back as soon as either:
- moving op is done/cancelled
- current folder(/tab) is changed

OK, I'll give it a try on v4.20.0046.
