1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Alt-Return not working (as it should)

Post by Creat »

Hi

when I press Alt-Return in the tree-view it brings up the properties dialog of the focused item (just as promised by the keyboard shortcuts help).
Unfortunately it often doesn't work in the list view (at least not for me). It opens the properties of the folder "C:\Program Files\TrackerV3" instead (which of course is tracker's install folder). It doesn't matter what directory I am in or how many files are selected. The context menu entry always works correctly.

The same happens when nothing is selected, not sure if this is on purpose or not (I don't think it is, since I can't figure out how this is supposed to be helpful) but I think this has something to do with the behaviour.

Right now Alt-Return works always, that's just not always the case. If I figure out under what circumstances this happens I'll let you know :)

bye

Works ok here. Let me know when you find out more.

No problem for me (XP). The only way I can reproduce something similar is if I tab from the tree to the list view and then press Alt+Return. That gives me folder information for a non-related folder. Under these circumstances no file is selected in the list view, only the dotted selection box, so I can understand the odd behaviour. Why the folder information given is for a totally unrelated folder I do not know.

Thanx. Should be fixed with v4.20.0019.
