ID3v1.1 tag editing not working in IP

Have long used Rename SpecialMp3 Special without difficulty.

Today while trying to do some Tag touch-up in the IP the field would activate (turn white) when clicked and data could be changed BUT no "Once you do, two icons will appear on the right (letting you know you're now on edit mode). Click the green icon to set the new values, or click the red icon to cancel and reset the display to the original state." happened.

Once had similar trouble in IP when font would not activate by clicking on name and wonder if the two are related.

i think those 2 icons only appear if you actually change something in the input fields.

But wouldn't it be better if they appeared as soon as the field was activated? Users would not be clicking there if they didn't want to alter the tag.

Yes, I think you are right. They also appear immediately on the properties tab / date fields.
