Color formatting in Catalog

In the Configuration dialog for Interface Colors, the user can copy and paste color specifications using hex values. It would be helpful if the color settings in the Properties of Catalog items and categories could also be made using hex values. This would enable the user to harmonize colors easily in all parts of the screen layout.

It would also be a great time-saver if the user could choose default values for colors of text and background in new Catalog items and categories. These default values could always be overridden in specific cases.
