Show Folder Sizes as Tab-wise setting

When turning "Show Folder Sizes" on, it caculates the folder sizes of both panes (aka whole app). Depending on the content of both panes it can take really long. (calculating once, via "Calculate Folder Sizes" works only in the active-tab, but after a location-change this setting is gone)

Can you make this a tab-wise setting?
Alternativly it can also be transformed to a FolderView-Setting, as I use this feature only in locked tabs it would end in the same effect.

I know there is a way around, using a search for everything without subfolders, with "Search for folders as well" under "Sizes" activated...

Hmm, indeed, dual pane = dual work! Not necessarily nice, right...

But it's a long time that I thought about folder sizes. I rarely use the feature myself so I have no real feel for it. Nobody ever asked for this, and it would be a lot of work to do, and it would change a very long-standing behavior of XY -- so I'd rather say "no".
