When dragging is enabled, I can drag files from the file list to a folder name in the tree pane. Move or copy, whichever I want. Great, works fine.
But I sometimes accidentally "grab" a folder in the tree and drop it into another folder. This happens when I'm working fast (which we can all relate to), and I click a mouse button just a fraction of a second before I meant to. If I don't catch this immediately, it obviously makes for a mess of searching and troubleshooting to figure out what happened to my missing folder.
Can we have an option to enable dragging to/from the file list and the tree, but disable dragging/dropping items WITHIN the tree?

Hmm, I don't like it too much at the moment.costanza wrote:Can we have an option to enable dragging to/from the file list and the tree, but disable dragging/dropping items WITHIN the tree?
There are other solutions:
(a) Menu Go | Go to Last Target: it will bring you to the folder you have just dragged to. So this will make it quite easy to spot your mis-dragged folder.
(b) "Undo" for such cases is planned for the future.
