Editing Favourites list

Post by Gandolf »

Would it be possible to edit the Favourites list? When I download files I place them in a directory by date i.e 06-17+. The "+" sign indicated to me that there are files in that directory I want to check or move. When I have done that I rename the directory without the "+" sign. If I have entered it in the Favourites list it would be nice to be able to change the name in that list. I realise I can edit it in the "ini" file which would serve my purpose.

Dave.

Since v3.50.0067 the favorites are updated automatically when a fav folder is renamed. Thanks for a good idea!

Edit Favorites in TrackerV3.ini

If you're really brave, you can exit TrackerV3, open Windows Explorer (yuck!), navigate to TrackerV3 under 'Program Files' and edit the TrackerV3.ini file. Though this not recommended, of course.

The ultimately brave don't exit TrackerV3 but use it to browse to its own INI file, edit it in some editor (I recommend UltraEdit), and then press Ctrl+R which will restart TrackerV3 reading the edited INI file!
 twisted but works!
