On the contrary, I've used it a few times...but I believe that I could get by without it if needed...can't recall the exact situation where it came in most handy unfortunately.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

If in need you can do it with this script:j_c_hallgren wrote:On the contrary, I've used it a few times...but I believe that I could get by without it if needed...can't recall the exact situation where it came in most handy unfortunately.

Re: Drop "Convert to Mini Tree"?
I'll use this thread since it relates to new cmd that replaced it:
Could there be some way so that "Minimize tree" doesn't affect the "last used mini"?
Let's say I've created a MT from history...and then used a few other folders...all fine...then I use "Minimize"...to concentrate on current...now if I then turn off MT to see entire, and back on, the "last used mini" is the 'micro tree' instead of 'mini tree' as I last had it..if I were able to define (tweak?) when the MT gets saved and when not, in this case, then I could resume my work with the slightly expanded MT as I had prior to the use of "minimize", ok?
Maybe I'm thinking wrongly, but it seems logical to me.

Re: Drop "Convert to Mini Tree"?
Regarding the Mini Tree, when I select "Convert to Mini Tree", all that happens is the tree file folder icons turn blue. What's the point?

The point was (I removed the feature): From then on the Tree would only add the used paths when browsing somewhere.calvin wrote:Regarding the Mini Tree, when I select "Convert to Mini Tree", all that happens is the tree file folder icons turn blue. What's the point?

I vote: Drop it! - rarely useful.
might be a bit disappointment to Don but I think Xyplorer is now too complicated. I prefer speed and simple.
