Simple question - when for dual pane? Still V8.? is that 8.0 or 8.9999?

'spect I'll get shot down in flames for asking.

Since Don just released an offical version with the number 7.90.0050 and since he mentioned that he is working on dual pane for months already, i guess he wanted to save the 8 and therefore the next official version for dual pane.

But that's just a guess...
OS: Windows 11, 64-bit, Version 25H2, Build 26200.8655 (10.0), AMD64

I can't speak for others but for me, I certainly won't shoot you down for asking, given that you've been on forum for more than a few weeks and haven't been noticable (to me) as making critical postings as compared to certain select users.

Personally, I suspect that DP may be introduced somewhat incrementally instead of all at once as that type of major overhaul has a number of potential potholes/issues that may not be noticable until we as users begin to work with it...so creating the entire package and then maybe having to rework parts of it is less desirable than building a core framework and then adding to that, as has been done in the past with other features.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.
