Drag & Drop from the Trash!

Post by admsupport »

What's that?!? We cannot simply drag and drop a document from the Trash into a folder?

What about people in hurry like me :?: I too often trash file by mistake and need to get them back from the trash. Will it be a way anytime soon? I would like to open the trash and simply drag & drop what I need back :)

actually the point of using a File Management Software is to avoid using Windows Explorer and to do all the operations from the GUI of the FMS  .

So this is a no-way for this type of operations (drag and drop from the trash inside the XY GUI)?

1. No, the point of a tool is to support your work.
2. Yes, the Recycle Bin is not available inside the XY GUI.

PS: FYI, The Recycle Bin is a virtual folder, a so-called "namespace (folder)". These namespaces (there are more of them) are usually always handled by Explorer, even if they appear embedded inside the GUI of a non-Explorer application. So the point is not using/avoiding Explorer, but embedding/not embedding Explorer. XYplorer opted for not embedding.
