2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

Error in new Zoom Dropdown

Post by christian777 »

Latest Beta .0201
The new Dropdown in „Configure Toolbar“ (not „Configure Keyboard“) has a strange appearance:

No special dpi settings or zoom on my system (current Windows 11).
Do you need any more infos?

Ah yes, I see what happened. Fix is on the way.

(Fixed the release notes, too :) )

But what's going on with your colors??? Your screenshot reveals several strange issues. Could you share your color settings?

Ok, I found the culprit: It's Windhawk „Translucent Windows“ mod. This is still quite problematic for many applications. Disabling it looks like this:

Sorry for bothering you.

But I didn't make it green. What color should it be?

Ah, thanks for outing the culprit.

The green is not a problem, I was just curious. I assume it's from your Windows theme.

The two still dark scrollbars will soon be replaced by XY's new native ones.

actually, I don't have any green in my windows theme. I assumed it is native to Glow Up.

and of course I can confirm the dropdown list is ok now in the latest beta.

Ah, I get it. It's from your XYplorer dark mode color tint settings.

Ah ok, I see!
There is a relationship between this value and the color of the button, but I don't understand how it works.(19 = pink, 20 = light green)
