Administrator choice

When I start XYplorer from an icon on the desktop I can choose to run the program as Administrator but is this choice possible when I start the program from the icon on the taskbar?

Have you tried right clicking XYplorer.exe>Properties, then selecting 'Run this program as an administrator' in the compatibility tab?

For normal icons on the desktop that works, actually that is what I tried to do when the icon is located on the taskbar. The only two option available there is "XYplorer" and "Unpin from taskbar".

Why would you want to run it as Admin in general anyway?
Unless you're running all other applications as Admin as well, it might cause problems with UAC when interacting with mixed level applications.
