Undo delete failed

EDITED TO ADD: I've noticed it's only happening with my NTFS drives. I have an exFAT (SSD) portable drive and undo delete works fine with that.
I don't know if this is a bug or something wrong with my setup but I've recently migrated to the 64-bit version and undo delete doesn't work. It fails every time with an error message then, if I'm trying to restore a file, the file opens in the default system edit app - and if I'm trying to restore a folder, the folder opens in Windows Explorer.

I was about to post the same exact problem. Any solution? Thanks in advance.

The current v28.30.1600. I've also noticed it's only happening with my NTFS drives. I have an exFAT (SSD) portable drive and undo delete works fine with that.

One might have to be patient until Don is back on the forum.

Ok, yes, I'm also using NTFS.
Another thing I didn't mention before: now also the "restore" option does not appear when using right click on the bin.
And what appears now is a "restore to previous version" which also doesn't work, anyway:

It must be said, it all works perfectly when using the Windows Explorer:

By the way: activating "native context menu" does not solve the problem, neither.

This is a known issue and is associated with the following bug.

Thanks. The comments seem to suggest the bug is specifically to do with Windows 11 but I'm on Windows 10.

The issue is high on my list. Please test with a version older than 28.30.0300, and also with the 32-bit version. Will help to narrow down the issue.

Tested on:
x32 v27.20.1501
Undo delete fails.
x64 v28.30.0226
Undo delete fails.

Ah HAH!! I reported the no "Restore" from recycle bin context menu to Don. He thought I was the only one with the issue who was using Win10. But I see you are also, so there's at least two of us.
And I just tried to Undo a deleted file and I see the same issue you're seeing.
Don is back and these issues are high on his list, so we just have to be patient. At least we can restore deleted files using Windows File Explorer.

Have you tried the troubleshooting that Don suggested?

I tried them and they both fail with undo delete.
