3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

Undo delete failed

Post by kiwichick »

EDITED TO ADD: I've noticed it's only happening with my NTFS drives. I have an exFAT (SSD) portable drive and undo delete works fine with that.

I don't know if this is a bug or something wrong with my setup but I've recently migrated to the 64-bit version and undo delete doesn't work. It fails every time with an error message then, if I'm trying to restore a file, the file opens in the default system edit app - and if I'm trying to restore a folder, the folder opens in Windows Explorer.

The current v28.30.1600. I've also noticed it's only happening with my NTFS drives. I have an exFAT (SSD) portable drive and undo delete works fine with that.

One might have to be patient until Don is back on the forum.

Ok, yes, I'm also using NTFS.
Another thing I didn't mention before: now also the "restore" option does not appear when using right click on the bin.
And what appears now is a "restore to previous version" which also doesn't work, anyway:

It must be said, it all works perfectly when using the Windows Explorer:

By the way: activating "native context menu" does not solve the problem, neither.

Thanks. The comments seem to suggest the bug is specifically to do with Windows 11 but I'm on Windows 10.
