When reporting a bug, please include the following information: your XYplorer version (e.g., v27.90.0047), your Windows version (e.g., Win 11), and your screen scaling percentage (e.g., 125%). We recommend adding your Windows version and screen scaling percentage to your profile or signature. This will make debugging much easier for us.

Default columns

Post by Orson »

Just upgraded to beta 7.60.0026 and noticed that extra columns were added to my various tabs. I only want to see Name, Ext, Space, and Modified, but had to manually remove several additional columns (Accessed, Created, Len, Attr, Type) that somehow were added when I began using the new version. Seems like a bug to me.

Somewhat related to this problem. But that was fixed.

It's an older bug that was in the version you upgraded from (a 7.50 version I assume). There was no other way to do it than adding all existing columns. It's a one time manual work for you to remove them again. When done there should be no further problems.

As of today, I'm still having to revert to the default columns. I restored the defaults -- and then saved my settings -- more than once. I find that I have to come back and do this again...... and again. This is in version 0026.

Hmmm, so I have overlooked something?! Can you send (by email) your INI and fvs.dat and a guideline how to produce the bug? Thanks!
