I thought I might dip my toe into the 64 bit realm today and saw this on the website:
So I click on this command from my 32bit version of XY and am prompted to download the 64 bit and basically set it up manually from scratch. No settings carried over. No license carried over - no nothing carried over.
The only thing that is different here is my "startup.ini" points to a completely different folder structure so I can control my backups and easily replicate my exact settings.
But right now - this "Upgrade to 64 Bit version" does nothing special that I would need to do myself manually.
What am I missing? Or does this only work with a "stock" installation location?

So - are these instructions actually valid?

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once.

You got it. Currently, it does not carry over settings from a portable installation.
