I like to keep XYPlorer running all the time in the system tray. I have it tied to a hotkey so that I can restore it whenever I want - this works well. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to use the keyboard to minimize it and put it back into the system tray when I'm done with it, unless I click the minimize capton button with the mouse.
I keep hitting the Escape button, but nothing happens, and I don't see a keyboard shortcut that would allow me to configure this.

Re: Minimize with Escape Key
Ok...have you looked in the "Misc" section of CKS? Specifically, in the Window state section...there is Minimize Window (#1027)
(CKS = Customize Keybd Shortcuts --- in the Tools menu)

Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

Re: Minimize with Escape Key
For special reasons escape key is not customizable for shortcuts, except shift+escape.

Re: Minimize with Escape Key
I missed the minimize shortcut - thanks for the detailed info, it's appreciated!
It's too bad that the escape key is not available since it is a natural for what I want to do. I can understand that it's used to stop internal things from running away, but it would be nice to be able reuse the key for something else when XYPlorer is sitting idle...
Anyway, now that I know that the minimize shortcut is available, I'll try and figure out another convenient key to assign to it - maybe Shift-Esc!
