operation not allowed

XYplorer now treating Redmi Note 12 phone as a read only device. Can no longer add new folders. Worked in the past.
(Win11)

error msg:
Operation not allowed: Portable devices are treated as read only.
Redmi Note 12 5G\Internal shared storage\!@ SWR my apps |new folder

And you really can't enter portable in the "Jump to Setting..." dialog window (in the configuration settings window) to find the setting you have to untick?

That did resolve the problem that just started after many years using XYplorer. Your reply made it sound like that obscure setting is somethings all of us dummies should already know. Why the attitude?

I was having this same problem. I didn't know about the presence of this setting, so pointing it out was the correct and helpful thing to do.

But highend, that was absolutely attitude, and uncalled for.
