Using the beta

and it takes 11-12 seconds to appear from click on W11. Otherwise it is not often laggy.

The current 64-bit beta is still slower, that's a known issue. But 12 sec is extreme, of course. Try this script in the address bar to find out where it hangs:

Don, for your info on x64 vs x32 loadtimes, for my computer, by far the bulk of the startup load time difference is due to "Init UDC and KS".
2439 ms for x64
18 ms for x32

Also here this is the largest number, though not as crass (463 ms of 1681 ms).

Those load times were misleading. The next beta will show a different picture. Let me know then.

Something fishy with the new load times. As you can see below, I have no tags and as a matter of fact I have tagging under "Features" in Configuration unchecked. So "Update tags in UI Menu" is as a minimum misleading. Is that load time now including UDC since it's not included with KS?

Indeed, will be better in next beta. UDC is so fast, it's under the 10ms threshold.

It's still unclear where the slowness comes from. Later the TB guys will have to look at it.

BTW, totally forgot about llog;, a cooler way to achieve the same.
