When doing drag & drop, hovering the mouse cursor over an inactive tab in the active pane will make XYplorer switch to that tab. This feels natural and it allows dropping source files/folders into subfolders of the target tab. With Dual Pane view, XYplorer does not switch to (or activate) inactive tabs in the inactive pane. While files/folders can still be dropped into the current folder of an inactive tab, its subfolders are unreachable without cancelling the drag & drop attempt and activating the tab manually beforehand.
I am reporting this as a bug, and not as a wish, because activating a tab by hovering does work inside the active pane, and it feels inconsistent that it doesn't work inside the inactive pane. Apart from that, I think it would enhance the usability of XYplorer further.
Edit: x64 v27.90.0032

Not confirmed, at least for the x64 version.
It activates the tab and allows dropping to it or any of its subfolders.

Re: Drag & Drop to inactive tabs in the inactive pane doesn't activate that tab
Damn, I forgot to report the version information (x64 v27.90.0032)
I just opened a fresh instance, activated Dual Pane, clicked on the "Documents" tab in the upper pane and dragged a file onto the "Desktop" tab in the lower pane ("Desktop" and "C:\" were present there, and "C:\" was active by default). XYplorer showed a pop-up indicating that I may copy the file to the "Desktop", but it did not switch from the "C:\" tab to the "Desktop" tab.
When I dragged that same file over the "This PC" or "User" tab in the upper (active) pane, XYplorer switched to the respective tab after a short hover delay.

What about ticking this: Configuration | Tabs and Panes | Tabs | Also auto-select tabs in the inactive pane
