I have encountered a strange problem with XYplorer and Excel.
When I open an Excel file by clicking on the file using Windows Explorer (or by opening Excel directly), the file opens normally and looks like this:
When I open an Excel file by clicking on the file using XYplorer, the file looks strange, like the DPI scaling has changed.
I have tried reinstalling both Office365 and XYplorer. Any ideas what could be happening?

Re: XYploerer and Excel scaling problem
Open Windows Task Manager and check if WE and XYplorer are started from the same user. If not - that can be the case.
Re: XYploerer and Excel scaling problem
They are both associated with the same user name.
Re: XYploerer and Excel scaling problem
Check "Command line" column for Excel in Task manager. For both cases.
And can you run two different Excel instances (from WE and from XY) at the same time?

Re: XYploerer and Excel scaling problem
Does it happen as well when you use the 64-bit beta as well?
https://www.xyplorer.com/download/xyplo ... nstall.zip
Extract it in your download folder, run XYplorer inside of it, navigate to an excel file and double click it...
And if this doesn't change anything, did you already play with the "high DPI settings" from the compatibility tab after right-clicking the XYplorer.exe file and chose "Properties"?

Re: XYploerer and Excel scaling problem
I'm still having the problem, but found another piece of information that might help.
In XYplorer:
When I right click on an Excel file an choose "open with Excel" it opens correctly.
When I double click on the file, it opens with the strange view settings.
How do I get double clicking to work the same way as "open with"?

What happens when you press ENTER to open?

Re: XYploerer and Excel scaling problem
Using the Enter key to open a file gives the same result as double clicking it, and opens with the strange view settings.

Re: XYploerer and Excel scaling problem
The next 64-bit beta version will offer solutions.
There is a chance that the 64-bit version does not even have the problem. Let me know.
