1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

XY warning of over-long http links in catalog

Post by Garonne »

Hi Don,

I don't think that's intended behaviour, but I've got a couple of website links stored in my catalog which are longer than 259 chars.

When I click those catalog links, I get a warning about "overlong filenames". I don't think that's applicable for http(s) links, is it?

(not sure if this is considered a bug or a feature... In case, this isn't considered a bug: Would you mind adding a checkbox in the catalog item property dialog, so you can switch off warnings for individual catalog entries?)

I'd say that's a bug. Fixed in next beta.
