Dark mode color tint in lists

Post by Bee »

I've read that this was supposed to have been fixed with v27.00.0002, but for me it unfortunately still persists in v27.00.0100.

I'm using Windows 11, XYplorer is in dark mode, but the lists when right-clicking on files or folders are white. When just right-clicking anywhere, the lists are dark, though.

Thank you for testing it on your end. I just tried to play around with the context menu customisation, and unchecking the first two options on the screenshot makes the lists dark again. So is it a Windows issue?

No, I guess It comes from the way XY as a 32 bit tool displays the x64 context menu.
X64 based file managers don't have this problem with the context menu.
It may be solved with the x64 XY version, which is in the test phase.
My setting allows me to see all system context menu items.

The shell context menu is owned by Windows. It is only dark if Windows itself is in dark mode.
