When using Create Branch(es) Here the modified date and time stamp of the folders in the target location is set to the current date and time when the branches were copied. As I see it the modified date and times should not be changed from what they were at the source location.. Changing the created date and times to the current date and time when the branches were copied is not a problem.
Once upon a time xcopy /l/e made a good job of this but now it appears to be broken. I tried robocopy but that seems not to work properly either. So it would be really nice if you could fix Create Branch(es) Here as above.

So you call it a fix when your special wish is granted?
I have moved this topic to Wishes. I think it needs some explanation as to why this should be a good thing for the majority of users. Or at least for more than one.

Re: Create Branch(es) Here
I think it should be handled depending of the question if you do a copy or backup operation.
If you do I backup it makes sense your files are backed up "unmodified". If you do a copy… well… That's difficult.
But it's not like that's something I needed to worry about…

Re: Create Branch(es) Here
Create Branch(es) Here just creates empty folders. Not really a backup.

Ok, I thought we were talking about files... I'm not entirely sure I'd need to check creation time or date of folders...
