Users AppData Roaming causing failed Install of updates

I am getting a problem each time I try to install the updates to XYPlorer.

Problem:
Failed to create file:
C:\Users\glyn\AppData\Roaming\XYplorer\Temp\XYplorer_26.80.0400_
Install.exe

What appears to fix the problem:
I have checked permissions in the past and changed them. However, the problem keeps coming back.

In essence, I cannot easily get the updates to install.

This has only started happening over, say, the last few months.

Is there any way to fix this permanently? I mean, is there anything I can do?

The next beta will have a better error message. It should give us a good idea of what's going on.
