I saw that XYplorer had ca 9000 downloads at download.com, not bad at all compared to another competitors
Directory Opus/Total Commander which had ca 16-17000 downloads there. XYplorer is getting closer...

Yes, I was just mentioning this, because I think this is indeed a factor showing XY' s popularity... Both Directory Opus and Total Commander has been popular since years so
the fact that XY is getting closer in number of downloads is a good rough indicator that XY getting more and more popular (which is really nice!)
