I have a corrupted PDF. Probably incomplete download.
When I try to open it in any PDF software (SumatraPDF, Acrobat Reader) it reports it cannot be opened because the file is corrupted or invalid.
When I use XYplorer with preview pane on and select this corrupted file, XYplorer hangs and must be closed via task manager.
It should simply report "Cannot open" or "Corrupted file" within a second as other software do.

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Welcome to the club, and wow, never heard of such extreme behavior. Can you send this PDF to support?
Anyway, your particular preview handler is probably responsible for this mess: XY is waiting for the preview handler to return. This is currently done in the main thread. Soon this can be done in a background thread, which should solve the problem.
