:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Quicksearch path casing with tags

Post by jupe »

There seems to be a recent regression, or deliberate change?, I was doing Quicksearches and couldn't figure out why my labels/tags/etc weren't showing in the results, well it turns out I had used a lowercase drive letter in my search, so even though the files were showing in the list ok, the tags weren't, this occurs if there is any variation in char case anywhere in the path used to search. It also means if you tag anything in the QS results list, it is added again to the tag db with wrong casing. Repro for fresh:

tagitems(, 2, <pickdirs -1 C:\>); goto "c:\?/dn||C:\";

Notice I have used a lowercase drive letter in pane 1, so no tags/labels shown, pane 2 is normal listing, so tags shown.

Currently using v26.70.0512 but noticed some days/weeks ago.
